ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Doug announced that Attiba (Dream Team) will be coming back on Feb 7th @ 7pm Location: TBA
Adam: The YES program has requested we do a bike safety course Feb 10th, 3-5pm @ Blandy.
Benny suggested a budgeting committee get together to establish how we will spend our April Fools income. (Feb. 1st @ 6pm)
Milledgeville Cares wants to sponsor a bicycle co-op to repair bikes for needy members of our community. These clinics will be on occasional Monday evenings. As a club we commit to provide bicycling repair expertise/tools once a month.
APRIL FOOLS
Julia Send out updates sponsorship forms
Benny needs to finish routes & cue sheets
Benny will send routes to Doug Oetter to make the maps.
Julia will send Doug reminders about deadlines
Rest stops are done and in the dropbox
Julia will get logo for jester/3 feet it's no joke
Julia will check aprilfools@mvillebikes.com
Benny will advertise BRAG, Georgia Bikes, Southern Bike League
$30/$35 registration fee
Benny has paid fee to renew membership with Bike League
Benny will sign us up for the insurance
Frank will send the rider names to insurance after ride.
Julia will set up clipboard and form for registrations
Adam will deposit registration fees
Bank account is under The bicycling club of milledgeville.
Julia will pursue three human interest stories related to ride
- Jan - announcing the date
- Feb - Ty Butts/Doug Keith - Dream Team
- Mar - The bike ride is coming!!!
Adam will coordinate a relationship with the Wounded Warrior Project
Benny will get a Parade Permit with city
Benny will contact Chief Hodnett @GMC
Frank will get active.com password from Liz or Benny
Julia will add ride bags to sponsorship letter
Heather will make the flyer - need before Feb 1st
Everyone will distribute flyers wherever they can.
