8/16 ride

Heather, Sarah and I had a really nice ride at the airport this morning. Got off to a little bit of a late start...kind of slow moving this morning:) but put in about 12 relaxing miles before it got roasty toasty today.

With classes starting back next week, I hope to still swing rides on the weekends, so please be sure to post them!

Well, Jay and I tried something a little different. We waited until it was good and HOT to head out for a ride through rural Putnam county. As I wasn't able to get up there until around 3:00, I was only expecting to ride 30 miles or so. Jay obviously had other plans. We ended up riding almost 52 miles! No complaints though, as this was a great route. I hope more club members can do this route in the future (it has several options to tailor mileage to your liking).
