Howdy all,
The below link will take you to some of the photos that we shot on our recent trip out west. There are quite a few that should interest the roadie types amongst you.

Update on the Merritt Homestead Trail:
As some of you know we lost a significant part of our trails to the May 20th storm. As of this date we have built trail reroutes around 5 major areas of downed oak trees. Some of the "reroutes" required constructing some long runs of completely new single track. We've also built a couple of small bridges to add to the fun of a new downhill. Only minor work remains before we have a grand re-opening to be continued.

Amazing pictures! Thanks for sharing them. It must be an incredibly fun place to ride, both on and offroad. I'd love to check it out someday.

That deer really did a number on your van. - number 2 ;)
Were they able to repair the van in time for your return trip?

The van remains in Ks (5 weeks and counting). Thanks to a great friend and member of the local cycling community we were able pick up a van in Denver to drive home. We still have no idea of when we will get the van home as there is apparently a national parts shortage. A sore spot to say the least. The damage is worse than the pix show. There was, literally, glass imbedded in the titantium of Janice's bike. The EMT's picked glass out of us and we are still have little pieces come to the surface pretty interesting. Unfortunate to be at that particular spot on I-70 at that moment fortunate to be here writing about it.
