Thought I'd take a second from my ark building project (ti and carbon fiber of course) and wonder how you folks are dealing with the weather. If you are new to our area September and October are typically our driest months. The trails are usually covered with talcum powder consistency dust this time of year. Now they are marginally rideable -- assuming you want to hammer them and survive the roots, etc. We've been finding a relatively dry part of each day and heading out to the Bartram Forest to either hit hard laps or do hill repeats. Close to home and never far from the trail head so it sorta works in this weather...and being a retired ole phart helps with running out there on short notice. My homestead trails need some maintenance and grooming but gonna wait until this low pressure is outa here. Been considering a longish road ride but these thunderstorms pop up quickly and don't even appear on the radar until they are in full swing. Oh well, ANY thing but the trainer.
