Bartram Forest Director

A new director, Eric Mosely, replacing Dr. Gormley has been appointed for the Bartram Forest. Adam and I have had a couple of opportunities to spend some time with Eric and have found him to be very supportive of our trail endeavors. In fact, he is a mountain biker and is interested in expanding and improving the trails in the Forest. Our initial efforts will be directed toward clearing the deadfall on the trail network -- particularly on the John Muir trail section.

I had the chance to meet Eric earlier this week. He seems like a good guy and I'm looking forward to seeing things improve quite a bit at Bartram under his guidance. We talked about getting the club to plan a work day at Bartram one Saturday in September. That's something we can discuss at tonight's meeting.
