One of the most beautiful and most challenging rides in Georgia. It climbs six mountain gaps in North Georgia in 103 miles.

I've been wanting to do this one for a long time and this year I'm finally going to do it. I know there are several of the pavilion group of riders who do this every year and I am sure they have already started to prepare themselves for it.

I plan to climb every hill I can find and get myself used to long days in the saddle so I'll be ready to tackle those mountain climbs about seven weeks from now. If anyone else would like to take on this challenge for the first time, I would love to have some company in getting ready and in doing the ride.

Anyone need a paid registration for Six Gap? I've officially decided that last week's bout with the flu has knocked me out of the possibility of riding Sunday. I'm feeling much better, but still not breathing fully. I might be ready for a short easy ride this weekend, but not a hilly century.
