If you are looking for a good ride, this is a good one. A long time favorite of mine. Good attendance. Good roads. Good organization. A good cause.

30, 50, 80 and 100 mile options. Prepare for a very hot day.

Hmmmm, pondering this ride. I've heard good things about it, except the fact that it is usually hot as hades. I probably won't try to pull off the century (saving that for the Fall), so I'll probably just do the 50-miler.

Sounds like a good challenge, I may be in for the 50 miler as well. I will need to have my derailer checked first though. Its acting up.

Jim,

Sheldon Brown has an awesome DIY guide to deraillieur tuning...must say, by following his directions, I rocked the back one...the front one just needed to be replaced...

Thanks Liz, I actually took it in to Oconnee Outfitters and he adjusted it. I had "booger'd" it up pretty good by turning the wrong screws. I will put that link in my favorites, that site is really informative.

Have fun at the ride tomorrow, Rachael and Jim. We'll be looking for your thread in the "Ride Reports" section.

Thanks Benny, I will take some pictures, they said it is supposed to be HUGE this year. I am really looking forward to it and thanks for the help.
