I'm all for a ride this weekend in honor and support of Benny and his battle. What is everyone else thinking?

Liz, how'd you manage 62 posts on a site with barely 25 total posts girl? We'd love to have you and any others join us. FATS is a fun trail. I'll get more details posted as the week progresses however if you'll check and tell me where the best meeting site is we'll organize a rendezvous point that's convenient to all.

No idea! This is my first day on the forum!! and I really haven't played around on here much at all...

Where is FATS? I'll probably need to talk someone else into going with me as Adam is out of town and I don't have my car outfitted for lugging bikes around just yet... Anyone else game???

Augusta, or rather SC, probably an hour or so from Greensboro.

I will ride on saturday. I turned 30 last week, so I need to do 30 miles. I might do Wriley.

REPORT:

OMG!!!!!
Benny,
I tried to hold the faith and complete the full 30+ but carpal tunnel attacked my hands, my feet, & my butt at around the 18 mile mark. After several mechanical adjustments, the feet and butt felt enormously better however the hands are still aching from the ride. From there on the avg. miles/hour diminished exponentially.

After all was said and done, Carl logged (best I could tell) around 30-31 miles & I came in around 25-26 miles in 3 hours give or take. Kim severely pulled a muscle and has been coup'd up on the couch so the ribbons didn't get made but I had you in my thoughts, mingled of course with the pain I was feeling in various regions of my body.

Have a good & safe ride tomorrow.

Benny
